Wow, I can't believe I am here - on a blog - from me!!!
My heart panicked when I read that I would have to create a blog. I said to myself, well I am going to need some help with this.
My darling 26 year old daughter assisted me with this task, so I must thank her for taking time from her busy schedule to help her old mom - Thanks Tiffani!!
This blog is created for my Health and Wellness course with Kaplan University. While reading Unit 1 class material, I really had to take a critical look within myself regarding living an integral life of wholeness - spirit, soul and body.
The more I read the material, I knew that this class will be such a blessing to me. In the back of my head I knew that I needed to get somethings together in my life so that I lived a more balanced lifestyle. I believe that this class will be the vehicle to help me begin that process.
So, I hope if you are reading my initial post, you will come back often to see where I am going and how I am getting there.
Good night!!
I am in the Health and Wellness B.S. program and I graduate nest year too. When will you be graduating? I am due to graduate in July. I look forward to being able to share stories with you and the others. It is really great to put a face to a name.

DeleteI will be graduating in July 2013 too. I am majoring in Psychology with Substance Abuse emphasis. This is my passion but healthy living is a part of the big picture and I need to tune in now. Let's stay in touch, blog with me at my site. Take care.
Barbara,
ReplyDeleteI have had the same feelings. My first blog - Wow! Needing to change my lifestyle - Wow! I am here and sharing with others things that I never gave much thought too nor that I would be blogging about them. But as I read Chapter 1, I realized change is needed at my age I need to be as healthy as possible. I must say that I am jealous because you had help with your blog site and it is very nice. I am still trying to put the pieces together with my site. Maybe by the end of the course it will be all together.
